We collect, fix, and take pictures with old cameras. It's cheaper than smoking.
For a few years now our collection has been growing. The cameras date from as far back as the 1920s and up to as recently as the noughties. We generally like cameras that are a bit quirky and also like rescuing cameras that have had rough lives and need some much needed TLC. Tash has a soft spot for Ensign cameras and Nicky dotes on his OM-40s (yep, more than 1) and Balda Coronet. He also has a knack for fixing all manner of mechanical problems so the cameras are in good hands when they arrive needing work.
We post pictures here taken with the cameras, as well as information about each model, any interesting stories about them, and in some cases how they were repaired.
